(3) What have you learn't from your audience feedback? (Wordle)

Wordle: Untitled
Audience feedback:

During the final audience feedback I gathered a lot of data. Most of which I had learnt from. A range of questions were asked to find out what the audience think about the music video.

1. Did you like the music video
The majority of people said that they had enjoyed the music video.

What i learnt from this was that people did enjoy the music video which is what I wanted people to do. I wanted it to be a fun and enjoyable video which I was able to do successfully.

2. What did you like about the music video
"The fact that it is an enjoyable video; Its different; Tells a story but at the same time have good visuals; good editing".
What did i learn from this? I learnt that the audience really embraced the fact that the music video was suppose to tell a story based on the lyrics. Good editing was another thing that was mentioned by people. Even though it was good I could still learn from this. The editing was 'Good' but not excellent which tells me that I could still make improvements in the editing. "Being different" was something that I found to be good. I learnt that making my music video different but carry the conventions would be useful.

3. What didn't you like about the music video
"The editing got sloppy towards the end; camera work when the guy was walking down the hall was poor, his head got cut off; use of different scenery"

What did i lean from this? One of the main things that i noticed from the audience feedback was the fact that the editing got sloppy towards the end. I learnt that i need to keep my editing consistent throughout the whole video in order to make the video successful. Another audience feedback I took into consideration was the fact that some of the camera work was poor (The guy walking down the corridor and when he enters the room). Upon editing i learnt that although i got the guy walking through the door, part of his head got cut off. This not a good sign because it suggests the camera work was poor and not constructive.

4. If you could change anything, what would it be?

There are a few things to point out from the research i did for my music video. One of the important ones was the appearance of the band as a whole. I admit that the appearance of the band was left to a minimum. the reason i did this was because i wanted to leader of the band to be shown the most as he is the most important person in the band even though they are all important. I looked at the 'Red Hot chili peppers song 'Dani california' i realised that they had the showing of the whole band. As i observed and analysed the video i learnt that the whole band appears a number of times. Another important point i took away was 'even though its a story, i would have more visuals". As mentioned before even though its story based people would still be interested in seeing some visuals that would wow them. This is difficult to do when trying to crate a video that links to the song however i could still have some effects and visuals with the band which would work both ways one being the fact that the whole band would be appearing a lot and second they would be colourful and loud (draw attention to them) also.
